The 2007 Adirondack All-Taxa Biodiversity Inventory (ATBI) BioBlitz was held at the Paul Smiths Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC), July 20-21. Over 350 species were catalogued during the 24 hour period. Sampling/observation was concentrated in and near wetland and aquatic areas on the VIC property. Scientists and volunteers worked in teams, focusing on a particular group of organisms. |
