Northern Adirondack Skipper Survey

Dr. Janet Mihuc is currently conducting a survey of skipper butterfly species in the Adirondack counties of Clinton, Franklin, Essex and St. Lawrence. If you have photos and specific location details for a skipper in these counties or anywhere in the Adirondack Park that you would like to submit to the survey, please email Dr. Mihuc at jmihuc@paulsmiths.edu. Not sure what a skipper looks like? Click here.

Project Silkmoth

This project is a survey of wild silkmoths, including the Luna moth, Cecropia moth, Polyphemus moth and others.
