Two Paul Smith's College athletes (both seniors) were announced as Players of the Week for their respective sports in the Sunrise Conference. Volleyball player, Kim Plail ~ and Jessie Gardner, a senoir Cross Country runner from Hudson NY were recognized for their acheivements in an announcement this morning.

Women’s Volleyball

Player of the Week

Kim Plail (Sr., Setter, Paul Smith’s College)



Kim earns the award after two solid performances against SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY Cobleskill. Plail, a Rochester, N.Y. native, had five assists and four solo blocks in the match against Plattsburgh. She then had 10 assists, six blocks, five aces, and two kills against Cobleskill.



Female Runner of the Week

Jessie Gardner (Sr., Paul Smith’s College)

Jessie wins the award after her performance at the Hoffman Invitational at St. Lawrence University. The senior came in 31st place in the 6K race in a time of 25:59, a personal best on the Hoffman course. She led the Bobcats to a fifth place finish.



Congratulations to both Kim and Jessie and their respective teams as they represent the entire college both at home and on the road.
