The Sunrise Conference of the NAIA announced today that Jessie Gardner (SR Hudson, NY) is the Player of the Week for Women's XC. Jessie won the women's 5K in 22:40 on the extremely hilly Southern Vermont College course. Jessie's win was the first ever for a Paul Smith's College runner at an Invitational.

Matt Piper (SO - MOrrisville, VT/People's Academy)is the men's Player of the Week from the Sunrise Conference. He is a Recreation, Adventure Travel & Ecotourism major. Piper placed fifth at the Southern Vermont College Moutaineer Invitational this past Saturday, leading the Paul Smith's College team to a second place finish.
