Paul Smith's College-0
The short handed Paul Smith's College women's soccer tema lost to Vermont Tech on Sunday 4-0. At half time the Lady Bobcats were trailing only by one goal and playing very well. Coach Dan Burke said that the girls just ran out of gas in the second half and fought as hard as they could for as long as they could. Vermont Tech recorded 9 more shots on goal 22 to 13 for Paul Smith's. Karlie Zurmuhlen made 18 saves in goal for the Lady Bobcats. "Karlie and the entire defense played very well. We were just overwhelmed with quality shots from Vermont Tech. The effort was there as it has been all season but only having 13 girls, they just get tired and struggle to stay with some of these talented, deep teams.
The women's soccer team will end its season on Saturday at home against rival SUNY Canton at 11 A.M.
