Coach's Corner- Men's Basketball The Paul Smith's College men's basketball team traveled to Rochester, NY on Tuesday night to take on Roberts Wesleyan College losing 43-93. Coach Akey was proud of the effort and work ethic but upset with the execution. "Our effort was great and I liked how hard we played. Tonight, against a good RWC team, we executed our offense and game plan as poorly as we could have. We turned the ball over, missed a lot of quality shots and were very stagnet offensively. We are a very young team with a lot to learn and everyday we talk about getting better and tonight we didn't.
There is a lot of potential with this group but we must fix the mistakes we made tonight and we will do just that." Freshman Steven Edwards led the team with game high 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Freshman Ryan Hingston added 11 points and junior Jeff Moore collected 10 rebounds for the Bobcats.
The men's basketball team returns to action Saturday for the Saint's Classic at North Country Community College against Suffolk County Community College at 5 PM.
