The Paul Smith's College men's basketball team lost a very close game on Saturday to Morrisville State College 73-76. The players battled the entire game and at one point we were down by 18 with six minutes left. During a time out I talked to the guys about defensive effort for the remainder of the game and they did just that. With 30 seconds left and down by 5 we got a great wide open look from the 3 that would of made it a 2 point game.
The team effort was fantastic and the whole team showed a lot of heart and never quit. This is a positive step in the right direction for these young men and the basketball program. The Bobcats returned to action Tuesday night at home against Rival North Country Community College at 7pm.
