Paul Smith's College, which owns 14,000 acres of forests, lakes, and rivers all within the six-million acre Adirondack Park, is uniquely situated to provide students ample recreational opportunities in various activities including hiking, camping, skiing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, swimming, canoeing, and rock climbing.
Additionally, the College recently completed Phase I of a renovation to the Saunders Sports Complex, creating a dance and movement studio within the facility, and completing the hardwood athletic facility where intramurals, athletics and recreation all take place in a climate controlled indoor facility.
The indoor recreational spaces are open for a myriad of programs that range from recreational and instructional to competitive. Programs can readily be added as per student interest.
