Citizen Science Training: Adirondack Wetland Monitoring (Frogs & Toads)

Come to the VIC for a training workshop which will provide the tools and information needed to participate in the new Adirondack wetland monitoring program. This workshop will focus on frogs and toads. We will begin with an overview of the wetland monitoring project and then proceed with hands-on instruction in field techniques used to record phenological data for wetland frogs and toads. Trained participants will be able to enroll in the long-term monitoring program committed to improving our understanding of Adirondack wetlands and conserving these unique places for future generations.
