FOREST MANAGEMENT - Forestry Bachelor of Science Concentration
Foresters manage public and private forestlands, balancing the diverse uses and values of the forest, including aesthetics, timber, recreation, water quality and wildlife.
Forest management activities include: Developing forest management plans; communicating with landowners; and developing and implementing silvicultural prescriptions.
Graduates work as professional foresters for public agencies, private forestry companies, and as consulting foresters.
