FOREST TECHNOLOGY - Associate of Applied Science

Cruise timber, plan and manage harvesting operations, develop and implement silvicutural prescriptions. Forest technicians are the backbone of field and practical forestry. They work for large forest management companies, federal and state agencies, sawmills, and consulting forestry companies.

The Forest Technology Program is a two-year A.A.S. degree program recognized by the Society of American Foresters (SAF).

The A.A.S in forest technology curriculum includes courses in:
