NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND POLICY - Bachelor of Science

Conservation, sustainable development, environmental impacts, population growth, renewable resources and natural resource stewardship are more than just buzz words. These issues require a broad appreciation of natural resources, coupled with experience in public communications, knowledge of regulatory processes and a background in the natural sciences.

The bachelor of science in natural resources management and policy helps to develop broadly-educated professionals with the tools to understand and address today's natural resources issues in an environment defined by social, economic, and ecological constraints and opportunities.

The B.S. in natural resources management and policy includes courses in:

  • Ecology
  • Resource Economics
  • Natural Sciences
  • Environmental Law
  • Land Use Planning
  • Regulatory Processes
  • Sustainable Development
  • Conservation Biology
  • World Cultures
  • Dispute Management
