URBAN TREE MANAGEMENT - Associate of Applied Science

The urban tree management program provides the education and training that can lead to an exciting and challenging career in the green industry. Our graduates are employed as tree surgeons, landscape designers, turf specialists and city arborists all over the country.

The focus of the urban tree management program is on the field of arboriculture (individual tree care). Students learn how to properly plant, fertilize and prune trees in the landscape. Students also become familiar with common diseases and insects of trees along with appropriate management strategies.

The A.A.S in urban tree mamagement curriculum includes courses in:

  • Landscape Design
  • Greenhouse and Turf Management
