Mar 5, 2018 | News

Mark Divine, a former Navy SEAL and New York Times bestselling author, will deliver the keynote address at the 71st Commencement exercises at Paul Smith’s College Saturday, May 12, at 11 a.m.

Divine served nine years on active duty and 11 more as a reserve SEAL before retiring as a commander in 2011, and is now an entrepreneur and author whose work is focused on both physical and mental strength.

He’s the founder of SEALFIT, a California-based training center, NavySEALS.com, and author of bestsellers including “The Way of the SEAL”, “Unbeatable Mind”, and “8 Weeks to SEALFIT”. He has also taught at the University of San Diego and is an accomplished speaker.

Divine is originally from upstate New York and graduated No. 1 from his SEAL BUD/S class and because of his leadership style was selected by the government to lead a mentoring program that reduced attrition and improved the quality of candidates.
