Students help launch restaurant week in Lake Placid

Feb 8, 2016 | News

Professor Kelly Cerialo’s students will see their vision come to life later this year when EAT ADK Restaurant Week kicks off in Lake Placid.

Students in Cerialo’s Field Studies in Hospitality course pitched the event to local restaurant owners last year, after professor Joe Conto thought up the idea. Then they worked with the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism and the Lake Placid Business Association to develop the model.

A new group of students from Cerialo’s class is working with the EAT ADK Restaurant Week Committee this semester to assist with the planning and launch of the first annual restaurant week in Lake Placid May 13-22. Check out the rest of the story in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.
