Step-by-Step Admissions Guide

  1. Apply for admission to Paul Smith's College

    Please make sure that you notify us of your veteran status on the application. This helps us help you, by enabling us to contact you with important information and making sure that we know to certify your enrollment with the VA.

  2. Request SAT/ACT Scores by sent

    SAT or ACT scores are required for admission to our Baccalaureate programs but optional if you are applying for one of the Associate degree programs.

  3. Request an Official High School Transcript

    --Not required if you have completed over 24 college credits.
    Please contact your high school to have an official copy of your transcript sent to:

  4. Request an Official Military Transcript

    Your military training may be eligible for college credit. To request an official military transcript online, click on the appropriate link below:
    Air Force (CCAF)
    Army (AARTS)
    Coast Guard (CGI)
    Marines (MCI)
    Navy and Marines (SMARTS)

  5. Request CLEP/DSST/DANTES official scores

    Click here to request official transcripts of your scores for CLEP or DSST scores taken WHILE IN the military.

    Click here to request CLEP transcripts if you took CLEP exams when you were NOT in the military.

  6. Apply for your VA Benefits

    Once you have applied for your VA Educational Benefits, you will receive a letter of eligibility from the VA. Please provide a copy of this letter to the Registrar's Office for us to place in your file. It will help us certify your enrollment to the VA and help you receive your benefits.

  7. Apply for Financial Aid
