Withdrawal From Paul Smith's College
Students may need to withdraw from college for various reasons: medical, personal, academic, etc. Students who intend to withdraw from the college
are asked to use the procedure outlined below as it is the only official way for a student to be separated from the college.

Meet with a counselor in the Academic Success Center to receive information on the withdrawal process and paperwork.

Complete and sign Official Notification of Withdrawal form.

Return the signed form the Academic Success Center.

Students may officially withdraw from the college until the withdrawal deadline which is published for each semester in the Academic Calendar.

Review the full Withdrawal policy found in the College Catalog in the Withdrawal section under Academic Policies and Procedures.

You do not need to complete an Official Withdrawal. However, we ask that you stop by or contact us as soon as possible to complete an official exit interview.
