|Description||The Career Services Office is accepting resumes for a student Career Center Assistant (anticipated opening).
Requires professional image and positive attitude, as well as attention to detail, proficient spelling and data-entry and phone skills. Must be available for minimum 2 hour shifts and be willing to participate in career sponsored events as requested.
●Demonstrate a professional image as CRC representative
●Greet, interact and assist visitors of CRC. Direct to appropriate offices on campus, as needed
●Enter detailed job postings on PSC Career Central database
●Create and maintain bulletin boards and flyers on campus
●Assist with career fairs and related event
●General office duties including filing, answering phones, cleaning, ability to lift 25 lbs
●Assist Human Resources and other offices, as requested
●GPA of 2.5 or higher
●Attention to detail, excellent spelling, editing and proofreading skills are critical
●Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Internet, social networking medias
●Customer skills: verbal, written, phone, email
●Self-motivated and ability to work independently
●Office skills: including filing, email; telephone, fax, keeping CRC organized and clean.
●Ability to work assigned shifts: dependable.
● Willingness to learn new skills
