Fitness Center Desk

1. A student must be eligible for the program as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
2. Student employees must report to the work site prepared to work. This means dressed appropriately for the position.
3. Maintain a professional manner on the work site. Priorities must be safety, maintenance and education.
4. CPR certification is required and will be provided through the position
Description: Enforce that patrons have clean shoes upon entrance; check in patrons; complete assigned cleaning tasks; provide information and direction; monitor and assist patrons and other tasks as assigned.
Relevant Skills: Applicant should have a working knowledge of, and commitment to, the mission and values of Paul Smith’s College and the Athletic and Recreation departments. Applicant should be outgoing and friendly and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be organized and good with attention to detail. Have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students, parents, administrators and staff. Demonstrate responsibility and willingness to assist others. Attend and actively participate in all meetings and trainings.

Saturday & Sunday 8am – 9pm
Hourly Wage: $7.25/hour
No experience necessary; Training will be provided.
