Swim Lessons Instructor

| Description | Requirements:
1. Student employees must report to the work site prepared to work. This means dressed appropriately for the position.
2. Maintain a professional manner on the work site. Priorities must be safety, maintenance and education.
3. Applicant must have prior experience teaching swim lessons (does not have to be Red Cross, although preferred). Lifeguarding certification also preferred, but not necessary.
Description: Instruct local youth on the various American Red Cross swim levels.
Relevant Skills: Applicant should have a working knowledge of, and commitment to, the mission and values of Paul Smith’s College and the Athletic and Recreation departments. Applicant should be outgoing and friendly and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be organized with good attention to detail. Have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and parents. Demonstrate responsibility and willingness to assist others. Attend and actively participate in all meetings and trainings.

Hours:
Wednesday 5pm-8PM
Monday & Thursday 4-5pm
Hourly wage: $12.00/hour
