Am I eligible for HEOP?

All prospective HEOP applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Reside in New York State and hold a high school diploma or equivalent
2. Meet the economic requirements established by the NYS Department of Education, based upon family income and the number of persons in the household (see Income Guidelines)
3. Meet the academic requirements for HEOP as set by Paul Smith's College
4. Have the potential and motivation for the successful completion of college
5. If transferring, the student was enrolled in an approved opportunity program
