Health Education
Students who take an active role in their own well-being live healthier, more productive lives – and Paul
Smith’s College offers a wide range of initiatives to help them accomplish that.
Our comprehensive health education initiatives improve the health knowledge, attitudes, and skills of the
students. Through providing information and health services, we hope to lead students to positive change
and/or reinforce existing knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding overall personal health.
Student Development staff work with Health Services, Athletics, Campus Life, Campus Ministry, Student
Activities, Recreation and Intramurals, Residence Life, Academic Support Services, and Sodexho to
provide a comprehensive wellness program. Programs are provided by professional staff as well as
Bacchus and Gamma peer educators. We also work to build coalitions and coordinate the provision of
health services; identify resources; act as an advocate for health issues; and communicate health
education needs.
Our schedules are flexible to meet student needs. You can make an appointment by calling 327-6340. You
may also schedule an appointment through the Office Manager at 327-6358.
