About Campus Safety 
The Office of Campus Safety is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and learning-friendly environment for students, faculty and staff, as well as safeguarding College property.
A Campus Safety Officer is on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Campus Safety can be contacted by dialing 327-6300 or 6300 from a campus phone.
The Office of Campus Safety is located in the middle of campus, next to the U.S. Post Office.

Credentials

All Campus Safety Officers are certified as New York State security guards.

They are all trained and certified in Basic First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, Emergency Oxygen, C.P.R., A.E.D., and Incident Command.

They are continuously being trained in a variety of areas throughout the year to better serve the Paul Smith's Community.
