SSS Staff - Catherine Pelkey

As the Staff Coordinator for TRiO-SSS, I provide administrative support for the project as well as oversee the Peer Mentoring program for first year students and the Cultural Enrichment program. In addition to my Staff Coordinator responsibilities, I also provide professional math tutoring and teach as an adjunct math faculty. When I'm not working I can be found hiking the 46 High Peaks with my husband, spending time with family back home in Crown Point, NY, or reading (preferably one of the classics).

In 2010, I received my B.S. from St. Lawrence University in Mathematics with minors in Statistics and Secondary Education. In 2012, I received my M.S.Ed. from SUNY Plattsburgh in 7-12 Special Education. I have worked at Paul Smith's College since August 2010 and love it here! I really enjoy helping our students get the most out of their college experience.
