SSS Staff - Elizabeth Phillips
I love traveling and camping and have been to Greece and Amsterdam and have lived in Ireland. My husband and I take weekend trips whenever possible. Early in our relationship we spent 3 months living in a small tent deep in the woods on a friends land, and if you find someone you can still love after that, you should probably stick with them! We moved to Saranac Lake, from the Ithaca, NY area in the beginning of August 2007.
I also enjoy photography, hiking, collecting things that look like junk to other people and swimming. I am hoping to take up some winter sports such as snowshoeing and cross country skiing now that I have moved here.
I grew up on beautiful Lake George and attended the Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute after high school, then Adirondack Community College and finally the University at Albany where I received a bachelor of arts. I majored in fine arts and minored in women's studies.
Interacting with students as they accomplish their academic goals has been a lot of fun for me and I look forward to meeting new students each semester.
