Grant Aid Scholarship

TRiO-SSS Grant Aid Award Guidelines

To be considered for the Grant Aid scholarship, freshmen and sophomore TRiO-SSS participants must satisfy the following criteria:

Demonstrate Pell Grant eligibility;
Be currently enrolled at Paul Smith's College;
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher;
Have completed the Financial Literacy 101 online course;
Have attended regularly scheduled tutoring, advising, and mentoring sessions (as prescribed);
Have attended at least one SSS sponsored workshop, seminar, field trip or recommended activity.

IF funds remain after all eligible freshmen and sophomores receive awards, junior and senior SSS participants must meet the following criteria for consideration:

Demonstrate Pell Grant eligibility;
Be currently enrolled at Paul Smith's College;
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher;
Have completed the Financial Literacy 101 online course;
Have attended regularly scheduled SSS tutoring and advising sessions (as prescribed);
Have attended at least one SSS sponsored workshop, seminar, field trip or recommended activity (including the Gear Up for Graduate School and/or the Resume Writing workshop).
