Grant Aid Scholarship

To be considered for the scholarship (awarded for the spring semester), freshmen and sophomore SSS participants must satisfy the following criteria:

• Demonstrate Pell Grant eligibility
• Be currently enrolled at Paul Smith's College
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• Have attended at least 90% of regularly scheduled SSS tutoring, advising and mentoring sessions (as prescribed) during the fall semester
• Have attended at least one SSS sponsored workshop, seminar, field trip or recommended activity during the fall semester

If funds remain after all eligible freshmen and sophomores receive awards, junior and senior SSS participants must meet the following criteria for consideration:

• Demonstrate Pell Grant eligibility
• Be currently enrolled at Paul Smith's College
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• Have attended regularly scheduled SSS tutoring and advising sessions (as prescribed) during the fall semester
• Have attended at least one SSS sponsored workshop, seminar, field trip or recommended activity during the fall semester (including the Gear Up for Graduate School and/or the Resume Writing workshop)
