SSS Staff - Tom Huber
In July 2005 I came to Paul Smith's College to direct the TRiO - Student Support Services Program after working for many years as a counselor for another TRiO-SSS Program at Southwestern Michigan College. Before that I was employed as an SSS counselor at Hazard Community College in Kentucky.
My past academic background consists of earning a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Central Michigan University and a master of arts degree in psychology from West Georgia College.
Along with working as a TRiO professional, I have taught a variety of psychology courses, career exploration, and courses related to renewable energy, natural building, organic agriculture, sustainability, mycology, and folk architecture.
For fun, I like to hike in wilderness areas, play bocce ball, and engage in various creative activities related to homesteading, sustainable living, and foraging for wild mushrooms.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance. If you are a student, I work for you!
