On-Campus Living
The Office of Residence Life is charged with supervising and maintaining all 15 on campus residence halls and our off campus Saranac Lake residence hall. Each building is staffed
with student staff members , Resident Assistants, who serve our students as peer leaders and provide a direct connection between the resident student population and Paul Smith's
College professional staff. The Resident Assistants are supervised by three full time professional staff of Area Coordinators who reside within designated residence halls. The
combination of both the Resident Assistants and Area Coordinators provide our resident students a support system that is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Coordinator of Residence Life oversees all Residence Life staffing, training, and evaluation of all services that are provided within each residence hall. The
Coordinator's staff is trained to provide support for students who are making the adjustment to community living, while helping each student understand
their rights and responsibilities that help build a strong resident student community; as well as, a safer and healthier living environment.
