Computer Replacement

STANDARD MODELS

To maintain a reliable and efficient computing environment for all users of the PSC network, the college in consultation with the IT department has developed standards for hardware. The purpose of these standards are to:

  • Optimize the support levels that the college is able to provide
  • Manage the cost of purchasing, replacing and support of technology at PSC
  • Improve service by the use of automatic deployment of software
  • Ensure that there is network compatibility for security and upgrades

The standard models purchased by the IT department can be found below. It is important to point out you will still be able to connect your laptop to your existing monitor(s), keyboard, mouse and other peripherals. PSC IT will provide a docking solution for those that are switching to a laptop if that is required.
