Citizen scientistVIC Citizen Scientists track the migration of monarch butterflies, monitor when maple buds open in the spring, and determine how much wood an average family burns in the Adirondacks. They collaborate with PSC students, the Vic, and Researchers in scientific observations and field data collection regarding environmental issues in our Adirondack backyard. Homeschool and public school students, families and all others wishing to actively participate in scientific discovery regarding Adirondack environmental issues will find ongoing opportunities to take part in meaningful projects. Once the research is completed, PSC students will analyze the data and present the findings in the PSC VIC web-based Scientific Journal. Look for our upcoming research in the event calendar.
