Student art on display from April 14-May 4 - 2011-04-05

Introduction to Painting students will display their works in the Joan Weill Adirondack Library from Thursday, April 14, through May 4.

An opening reception will be held on April 14 from 5-6 p.m.; light refreshments will be served. The reception is free and open to the public.

Each of the 33 students taking the course will display at least one piece in the show, which features oils, acrylics and mixed media.

The library’s hours are from 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Mon.-Thurs.; 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday; and 1 – 10 p.m., Sunday.
