See progress on our new sawmill! - 2009-07-22

Workers have been on campus since Monday installing Paul Smith’s new $200,000 sawmill. We expect to have it up and running by the end of the week.

The mill components arrived from Ohio on a flatbed truck, which was unloaded Monday. By Tuesday afternoon, just about everything was in place inside the mill, including a custom-designed operator’s cabin.

Lots of work has gone into the mill building itself, too: new lights, ductwork and other improvements were completed in preparation of the new Frick mill.
