More than 50 people discuss future of VIC - 2010-01-29
With the state's impending closure of the Paul Smiths Visitors Interpretive Center looming at the end of 2010, the college convened a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 27, to discuss possible options for the future.
The VIC sits on land leased by Paul Smith's College to the state.
More than 50 people - including elected officials, representatives of environmental organizations, the business community, the college and other groups and individuals - attended the first meeting. Coverage of the issue can be found here:
