Statement from President Mills on the passing of Trustee Emeritus Frank Hutchins - 2012-12-23

"I am saddened to have to tell you that a truly great man and friend of PSC, Trustee Emeritus Frank Hutchins, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, in Brighton. Whenever the college needed support Frank and his wife, Jeanne, were the first to step forward. None of us who knew him will forget that strong voice, deep laugh and commanding presence. Your college has lost one of the most important members of our community. Please keep Frank and Jeanne in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season." - President John W. Mills

A memorial service for Mr. Hutchins will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Rochester at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester, N.Y. 14607; Paul Smith’s College, Routes 86 and 30, P.O. Box 265, Paul Smiths, N.Y. 12970; or the Rochester Institute of Technology, One Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, N.Y. 14623.
