How do I set up a new course?

Courses in Canvas will be automatically created well in advance of the semester start date to allow faculty and course builders to prepare their materials. Student enrollments will also be automatic around 2 weeks prior to the semester start date and enrollments will automatically drop and add students as changes happen in the PowerCampus Student Information System (SIS). If you require a course that isn’t listed, you can contact the IT department to request a course to be created by calling 1-518-327-6414 or emailing
