Students, Faculty, Staff – Daily Health Screening

PSC faculty, staff, and students are expected to complete a daily health screening assessment prior to arriving on campus or leaving the residence hall. Individuals are encouraged to use the college’s new mobile app for this purpose.

Visitors and Guests

Families, friends, and other casual visitors are not permitted on campus. The following types of guests will be permitted provided they complete our health screening questionnaire, follow our health and safety protocols, and are sponsored by a PSC employee who will be responsible for compliance:

• Business-critical vendors and partners
• Prospective student
• Prospective student family member
• Guest lecturer/academic presenter
• Business-critical vendor/partner
• PSC service outlets guest: Ganzi restaurant, A.P. Smith’s bakery & Packbasket bookstore
  VIC guest/visitor

Dining

The Hutch and Lakeside Dining Hall are operating with modifications. Please click here for details regarding hours of operation and available services.

The bakery and restaurant are a critical part of the training for our AOS, AAS and BPS baking and culinary students. In the Spring 2021 semester the bakery will be open to the college community only with very limited hours and menu. Staff will adhere to college-wide physical distancing and cleaning/disinfection protocols as described elsewhere in this document.

Due to the educational nature of serving guests, the Ganzi may allow off-campus visitors later in the spring semester depending on the pandemic climate in NNY. Off-campus patrons will be required to obtain an advance reservation, and they will be screened before entering the restaurant.

Library

Center for Career and Academic Success

As we continue to navigate the changing landscape of higher education during a global pandemic, we promise to keep student success as our top priority! We have adapted all of our services to meet the needs of both in-person and remote instruction. Students can visit the CACS by scheduling an appointment in advance via Starfish. Meetings can be arranged to take place in-person or via a video conference tool such as MS Teams or Zoom. All CACS offices have been equipped with appropriate PPE and all visitors must remain masked while in the CACS. If you have questions, you can stop by our information desk on the second floor of the library M-F between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. Saunders Sports Complex

The Fitness Center will be open to the Campus Community 7 days a week with the hours of 7am – 10pm, Saturday 12pm – 4pm, Sunday 4pm – 8pm.

Saunders Gymnasium will be open for open shoot around daily.

The Pool and Rock Wall will remain closed for the time being.

The VIC

The Paul Smith’s College VIC is open with limited access for the 20/21 winter season. For more details on health and safety protocols as well as updated hours, please click here.

Packbasket Bookstore

The Packbasket is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, and on Saturday 11:30 am until 3 pm. Social distancing protocols apply.

Administrative Offices

All administrative offices are open during normal hours. Social distancing protocols apply.
