    • Yes, if you are still located in NYS. Please reach out via email to your counselor to schedule a session.
  • What if I don’t live in NYS & still want to receive counseling?
    • Please contact your insurance company to find a counselor who is in-network for you.
  • I have the student insurance. Does that cover mental health services?
    • Students looking to utilize their school insurance for mental health services in their community will need to contact Wellfleet at student@haylor.com. Prior Authorization is needed, and you can ask about approved providers in your area as well as the number and type of visits that are covered. You may need your student insurance card, so please have it handy when you call. For more information please visit the PSC Wellfleet homepage.
  • I need my mental health records. How do I obtain them?
    • Please complete the Release of Information Consent Form located on the Paul Smiths College Health Portal (paulsmiths.studenthealthportal.com). Note that Shakirra & Amy are working from home; please remain patient with the timeliness in the dissemination of information.

Student Activities

  • Will there still be events and activities sponsored by Student Activities?
    • We are looking into determining what events/activities we can provide online. Please stay tuned for more information coming soon.
  • What should I do if I have movies out from the movie rental?
    • When you come back to campus to get your belongings, please return them to the Student Activities Office (slide them under the door). Students may also return movies by mail. Failure to return a movie may result in a $25 replacement charge.
  • My club must elect new officers for the 2020-21 academic year. Do we still need to do that?
    • Yes! Talk with your club officers and advisor to determine the best way to handle this for your club. Some options may include emailing the president and advisor with your vote, online spreadsheet, or other online voting. Elections MUST be completed by May 1, 2020 and submitted to jsusice@paulsmiths.edu as we must know who to contact regarding club business over the summer.
  • Our club needs to submit a club budget for the 2020-21 academic year. How do we do that?
    • Please email sga@paulsmiths.edu with your budget request. You can either print the form from the Student Activities website, complete it, and then scan it and send or simply email the information without the form. Make sure to be as specific as you can. Budget requests must be submitted by May 1, 2020.
