DESCRIPTION:Join us Friday\, June 5th\, 2026\, to celebrate the life of local music legend\, Dan Duggan. If you have ever had the pleasure of being in Dan’s company\, you would remember his joyous and lively presence\, always passionately sharing his knowledge and love of music with the people around him. The “Jam for Dan” will be held at the VIC.\nCommunity invited to Paul Smiths folk music jam to celebrate the life of Dan Duggan\n\n\n\nby Monica Sandreczki (Co-executive producer\, co-host of Northern Light)\n\n\nhttps://www.northcountrypublicradio.org/news/story/53525/20260604/community-invited-to-paul-smiths-folk-music-jam-to-celebrate-the-life-of-dan-duggan \nDan Duggan\, recipient of the National Hammered Dulcimer Championship\, is rapidly being acknowledged as one of the finest dulcimer players and composers in the country. Dan has recorded 6 CD’s of original compositions as well as 3 CD’s of Christmas Music and a CD of original family songs titled “The Pieces of Our Life”. Dan’s Dulcimer work can also be heard on Paul Simon’s CD\, You’re the One\, released in 2001 and The Paul Simon Collection released in 2005.
