DESCRIPTION:We are offering guided tours of the 1675 Elder Grove\, home to some of the largest trees in NYS! Hidden\, scattered vestiges of old-growth groves offer a living glimpse into pre-European America\, untouched by the ax or plow. Meeting place is at the VIC\, we will caravan to the starting point for the walk.

You will learn basic tree terminology and how to use a dichotomous key\, all while strolling our lovely trails. This program can be adjusted to include those with limited mobility. SUMMARY:Boreal Life Nature Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join VIC Steward Alli Brunner on an exploration of two special ecosystems: the bog and the boreal forest. This guided walk takes place on our Boreal Life trail\, and is about a mile and a half long (with frequent stops to look at plants and animals!). This program is recurring\, running every other Sunday beginning Sunday\, June 7th and running through October 2026\, 1-3pm.
