Family Weekend 2025 Schedule

Friday, September 26th

  • All Day…Visitors Interpretive Center open (VIC), Trails open from Dawn to Dusk– Entrance is approx. 1.5 miles from PSC on Rt. 30.
  • 9am-4pm…The Mercantile is open, JWSC 1st floor.
  • 12pm-9pm…Corn maze tours, Tuckers’ Farm (mention you are a PSC person for a discount! Tour the corn maze after dark– bring your own flashlight) Bonfire with S’mores after dark. Enter corn maize before 9pm. They take cash only.
  • 1pm-7pm…Boosters Club Clothing Sales, All proceeds go towards supporting student initiatives/activities on campus.
  • 3pm-6pm…Registration, Student Center Lobby.
  • 3pm…Supernatural Club Basket Raffle, JWSC Lobby
  • 5pm-7:30pm…Dinner, Moorehouse Dining Hall (Tickets can be purchased at the door, PSC students with meal plan are free).
  • 5:30pm…Wagon Rides with the Draft Horses. Meet in front of the Student Center. Sponsored by the Draft Horse Club.
  • 6pm…Bonfire and s’mores, Fire Pit by the Lake. Sponsored by PSC Pride.
  • 6pm… Parent’s Welcome/Reception, Desserts created by Food and Management Club.  Bobcat. Meet with PSC Senior Cabinet.
  • 6pm-10pm…Bobcat Bar will be open!
  • 6pm-8pm…Rockwall open, Buxton. Pizza will be available. Sponsored by Athletics and Student Engagement.
  • 6pm-8pm… E-sports lab open.
  • 7pm… CASINO NIGHT! St. Regis and Pine Room, FREE!!  Prizes will be raffled off.
  • 8pm… Paranormal investigation of Clinton Hall, Sponsored by ADK Supernatural Club.

Saturday, September 27th

  • All Day…NYS Free Fishing Days!!! You can fish without a fishing license. Today is      National Hunting and Fishing Day.

  • 8am…Men’s and Women’s Cross Country 10K & ½ Marathon. Start at the Junction of Routes 86 and 30.
  • 8am-7pm…Boosters Club Clothing Sales, All proceeds go towards supporting student initiatives/activities on campus.
  • 9am-11am…Breakfast, Morehouse Dining Hall. (Tickets may be purchased at door.PSC students are free with their meal plan).
  • 9am-11am…Registration, JWSC Lobby.
  • 9am-1pm…Photobooth!! JWSC Lobby
  • 9am-1pm…Saranac Lake Farmer’s Market, Riverside Park.
  • 9am-4pm… The Mercantile is open, JWSC 1st floor.
  • 10am…Cardboard boat races, Boat Launch, Prizes will be awarded!
  • 10:15am– Axe Throwing into Woodsmen’s Team Demo at 11am, Great Lawn.
  • 10:30am-6pm…Whiteface Oktoberfest. Grounds and Gondola will open at 10:30am. Entertainment starts at 11am. www.whiteface.com/todo/oktoberfest
  • 11am-1:30pm…Brunch, Morehouse Dining Hall, (Tickets may be purchased at door, PSC students with meal plan are free!).
  • 11:30am-1pm…Pie an RA, Outside JWSC
  • 11:30am…Cookie contest judging, Student Center Lobby, Prizes will be awarded!!! Drop off your cookies at registration.
  • 12pm/2pm- Volleyball at SUNY Plattsburgh
  • 12pm-2pm -Mark Manske and the Owls!  Location-JWSC
  • 12pm-5pm…Bowling/Bowling Tournament for PSC at Romano’s in Saranac Lake- Regular Bowling, PSC Students will be free with student ID. Sponsored by Student   Engagement and the PSC Booster’s Club Corp. Student Bowlers win a scholarship.
  • 12pm-6pm… Oktupperfest in Tupper Lake. www.tupperlake.com.

  • 4:30pm-6pm…Dinner (tickets may be purchased at Morehouse Dining Hall
  • 6pm-11pm…Cosmic Bowling at Romanos in Saranac Lake…PSC Students will be free with student ID. Sponsored by Student Engagement.
  • 7pm…Mentalist Robert Channing, Freer Auditorium
  • 7pm-11pm…Bobcat Bar will be open!
  • 8pm-Telescope showing/viewing, Meet by Lake.
  • 8pm-11pm…Karaoke in the Bobcat, All ages are welcome!

Sunday, September 28th
