Housing & Residence Life
The Office of Residence Life is committed to developing and maintaining a living/learning environment that compliments the formal classroom experience. It is our belief that the residence hall environment fosters academic and personal growth, community responsibility, and individual respect.
The Residence Life program includes developing communities that emphasize the acceptance and responsibility of personal and group decision making. Students are expected to be familiar with and uphold all college policies and procedures that have been established to better assist the entire Paul Smith’s College community in the creation of a safer, healthier, and responsible living/learning environment.
The Paul Smith’s College Community Guide has been developed to provide students with a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities as students of the college.
The Office of Residence Life has composed “A Guide to Resident-Student Life” that is specifically designed to address the day-to-day needs, operations, procedures, and policies concerning the college’s resident-student population. Furthermore, it is the intent of this document to aid our resident-student community in quickly locating important information pursuant to their residential experience.
