Lead Free

PAUL SMITH'S COLLEGE

Lead-Free Campus Lands Policy

Paul Smith’s College has doubled down on its mission to “educate and advocate on issues that improve our planet and the lives of the people that inhabit it” by establishing a lead-free policy on college-owned lands. This was a collaborative effort by PSC’s The Wildlife Society student chapter, Fish & Game Club, faculty from the Natural Sciences and Forestry departments, and many others.

As a hunter and a conservationist, I am very proud to be a part of the lead-free initiative at Paul Smith’s College. It recognizes students’ actions in minimizing lead exposure to wildlife and humans, while also providing the opportunity to spread awareness outside the Paul Smith’s community.
