Mazzone Scholars Program

The Benefits to You:

• $1,000 scholarship per semester.
• Opportunities for paid work for Mazzone Hospitality during breaks and summer season at one of their properties.
• Housing available near a Mazzone property for your work experience at $100-$125 per week. (Note: this is not mandatory if you prefer to seek alternative housing.)
• Entry in the Mazzone Hospitality Management-in-Training program upon graduation from PSC and satisfactory work experience.
• $1,000 bonus each year you remain employed by Mazzone Hospitality post-graduation (up to 10 years)

Eligibility Requirements:

Scholarships are limited to two new students per academic semester (maximum 4 at any time). Students must meet the below criteria in order to apply:

Must be accepted to Paul Smith’s College in one of the following programs:

• 2 Year Programs
  • Baking and Pastry Arts
  • Culinary Arts
  • Hotel and Restaurant Management
• 4 Year Programs
  • Baking Arts and Service Management
  • Culinary Arts and Service Management
  • Food Service Management
  • Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management
• New Accelerated Program
  • Culinary Arts (AOS)

Must have industry experience

Must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

To Apply:

• Complete the below application
• Write a short essay of your intent and desire to have a career with Mazzone Hospitality (up to 2,000 characters/400 words)
• Interview with Mazzone Hospitality prior to the beginning of your first semester at PSC

To receive the award, you must be accepted to Paul Smith’s College and have a positive interview with Mazzone Hospitality.
