Late summer night

a cool pine breeze

swinging through the air

locking eyes across the swing carousel

low ambient light

your skin smooth

uniquely blemished

radiant in the night

the creases in the corners

of those gorgeous windows

as you laugh without pause

a consequence of joy

your smile

instantaneously kills me

only matched by

patterns of imperfect rain
