We have a fleet of skis and snowshoes available for rent to the public, with sizes for children and adults. Our skis are waxless Alpina skis with NNN bindings and boots for classic skiing. We have MSR snowshoes, you will need to wear your own warm sturdy boots. Call the number listed above to speak with a staff member about sizing and reservations.

Please note: Rental equipment is not allowed off property.

Pricing:

– Skis (includes skis, boots and poles): $10/day

– Snowshoes: $5/day

First come, first served, 7 days/week:

VIC Visitors –  A limited number of ski and snowshoe rentals are available in our rental room located outside the main entrance. Please see instructions in the foyer. Our skis are waxless Alpina skis with NNN bindings and boots for classic skiing. We have assorted snowshoes; you will need to wear your own warm sturdy boots. If you are concerned about availability of rental equipment, we strongly encourage you to pre-order by phone (518-327-6241) for weekend and holiday use.

Paul Smith’s College Students & Employees – Nordic skis, boots, and poles and a small number of snowshoes can be used during the winter months by all current Paul Smith’s College students and employees. Please contact the Recreation Department for more information about available gear in the Saunders Complex.
