TEDEd Lessons Worth Sharing, the popular video shorts, are aptly named. Immediately after watching a video by Dr. Richard J. Wood, I wanted to share it! If you are one of many who acquire dietary information from a variety of resources, but not enough of the good stuff to result in healthy lifestyle decisions – then consider watching this lesson.

Dr. Wood, Associate Professor at Springfield College (Springfield, MA) is an educator in the area of nutrition, and conducts research related to lifestyle modification in the treatment of chronic metabolic disease. The information Dr. Wood provides in his video “How do carbohydrates impact your health?” is fun, moderately paced, and full of wonderful introductory information about sugar, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.

I have no doubt that viewers, after watching this video, will want to seek out additional information regarding carbohydrates and other macromolecules from reliable resources, as another step toward making healthy adjustments to their lifestyle. Of course, if you have come across information worth sharing, please pass it along to me.
