Smitties are here on purpose. Foraging, fishing or exploring. Trailblazing, recreating or creating. They thrive by being. By doing. In the kitchen. In the lab. In the great outdoors. And so will you!
For starters, admitted students who secure their spot in the upcoming class by depositing get to attend our unlike-anywhere-else orientation for new Smitties. We want to see you there!
Consider it the big kickoff to an extraordinary journey in which you’ll explore your interests while living your best life here at the College of the Adirondacks. It’s an event you won’t want to miss.
What to Expect:
A lot of fun: Picture s’mores, live music, access to hiking trails, explorations with the Adirondack Water Institute, canoeing, kayaking, and lakeside yoga. (Oh, and bonfires.)
Informative meetings: Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with faculty advisors and our financial aid team to ask questions and get everything squared away.
Exciting logistics: You’ll explore housing, participate in roommate matching, choose your first-year seminar, and leave with your
official student ID.
