PAUL SMITHS, NY – Paul Smith’s College today announced the appointment of Benjamin “Ben” Brosseau as its director of communications.

In this role, Brosseau will lead content development across the college’s website and social media platforms, implementing strategic messaging that reflects Paul Smith’s College’s mission and amplifying the stories that make it distinctive. 

Brosseau is a seasoned strategic communication professional with a deep passion for improving the impact of nonprofit and government organizations. He worked for the Adirondack Park Agency as an assistant public information officer and the Adirondack Mountain Club as director of communications, where he developed strategic communication plans, led website development projects, executed marketing campaigns and managed media relations initiatives.

In addition to his professional experience, Brosseau is an accomplished photographer whose work has supported environmental stewardship and education efforts. He holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from SUNY Oswego.

“Ben brings not only impressive communications experience but also a deep understanding of the Adirondack region and a passion for its people and environment,” said Kathy Bonavist, executive vice president of advancement and enrollment at Paul Smith’s College. “His unique insights will help us share the many ways Paul Smith’s College makes a difference.”
