Class with the highest participation rate = Class of 1948 at 44.44%
Class with the highest number of donors = Class of 1972 at 48
Class with the highest dollar amount given = Class of 1975 at $67,291.50

Congratulations Class of 1972!
The Class of 1972 celebrated their 50th Anniversary during Reunion 2022 and had been challenged by Class Representative Jim Voorhies ’72  with a goal is to raise $30,000. Once $22,500 had been raised, Jim gave an additional $7,500 to ensure the goal is reached. Overall this Class Rep Challenge raised over $110,000 to support Paul Smith’s College.

To add more incentive to give, each member of the class that donated had been entered into the 50th Reunion drawing for the Class of 1972 and had a chance to win the following:

First prize:  Lodging and Meals for the 50th Reunion
Second prize:  $50 gift certificate to the Packbasket Book Store for the 50th Reunion
Prize for the largest gift:  Sit with President Hunt-Bull at the 50th Reunion Alumni Dinner

Congratulations to the following alumni donors:

First prize winner: Fred Heller
Second prize winner:  William Noel
Prize for the largest gift: Bruce Villwock

So, Class Years ending in 3’s & 8’s, you’re next!  The Class of ’72 set the bar pretty high.
What will your class raise to support Paul Smith’s College?
