This building is a “twin” to its neighbor, Essex — both house 35 upperclassmen. These buildings were built for the 1980 Winter Olympics Games that were held in Lame Placid, they represent a storied part of Adirondack lore and the College’s important role in the winter sports. Like Essex, Franklin boasts a prime location just a short walk away from the Library and Student Center/Dining hall. It is also steps away from the lake! Those in Franklin can share a bathroom
with only their roommate.
